Mrs Lily Davenport O.B.E.
Our President, Mrs Lily Davenport O.B.E. passed away on 23rd January 2008 aged 97. She will be greatly missed by all "her boys" and everyone who knew her.

History
The choir began its career in 1955 as the Glee Union of St. Paul’s Church, Macclesfield, Cheshire under their choir master Percy Broadhurst.
50th Anniversary
2005 marked the 50th Anniversary of the Macclesfield Male Voice Choir. A celebration concert was held in April 2005, with a special guest appearance from Aled Jones.
